25 weeks

Baby Mirella's heart rate is still 150 according to the doctor. My tummy is measuring 25 cm. Gettin' bigger! I can feel her moving around alot more often now...which is of course loads of fun!!! She is around a foot long now and a little over a pound!

My cold is finally gone...YAY!! I have been feeling really good lately. A couple more weeks and I will be entering my 3rd and final trimester! WOW!

One more week and we'll be just under 100 days. She's going to be here before we know it! The crib arrived yesterday, now we have to start painting so we can set her furniture up.

Tony fixed the car troubles we were having and saved us a bit of money doing it himself so thats good! He is now working on building a gate to block the dining/living rooms off from the dogs. Here is his progress so far. It's gonna look really nice!

Around the Bay - Pop's movie!

We attended Pop's movie premiere at the San Jose Rep downtown for the Cinquest Film Festival. He did a great job with his performance and we are very proud of him! Here are a few pictures from the event!

24 weeks!

24 weeks ---> 16 to go!
24 weeks marks the point where the baby is "viable"! YAY!

I'm still recovering from this darn cold...goin' on 3 weeks. NOT FUN!

Also having major car troubles the past couple of days...shelling out lots of money so hopefully it gets fixed before the weekend so we can visit SJ!

Mirella is kicking away today though so that helps ease my stress. :) We ordered her crib, that should be here in a week or so. I can't wait for it to come! Next on the list is to clear out the "office" so we can start painting her room and build her crib. Her gramma bought her a dresser so we are going to build that soon too! So much fun! :)

23 weeks

I've been sick for over a week now...I was feeling good Sunday...but Monday morning BAM it all came back. Stuffy nose and ears and sore throat...and just felt crappy. Today is a teeny bit better...but still all stuffed up and coughing. Hopefully I can kick this thing soon, I'm tired of being sick. Mirella is still kicking away. Seems to be a bit stronger and higher up now. About 17 weeks left and she should be here! Give or take a few I assume. I finally picked out the paint colors for her room. I just need to decide how I want to paint it. I will post pictures when we start that project.

22 weeks

I've spent the last few days at home, caught a yucky cold. I was bound too...I knew quite a few people who were sick...so I was expecting it. I have been pretty lucky though...we've lived here for a year now and this is the first cold I've caught! So YAY for me! Just sucks to have gotten it while prego...scares me. I had a pretty high fever 101.7 at one point. I thought maybe I'd be "cooking" Mirella...but Doctor says as long as I keep taking tylenol and don't let my fever be too high for too long she'll be ok! So thats what I did. She sure let me know she was doing fine with all her kicking the past few days. Tony and I could even see her kicking and making my belly move!!! So cool!!! I'll have to try to record it sometime. She hasn't kicked as much today...but she was making me feel like I had to go to the bathroom earlier by kicking my bladder. hehe!
She's got 4 more months of growing...at 20 weeks she was approximately .9 lbs (14.4 oz) according to her measurements at the ultrasound. I so can not wait to meet her!! I hope the next 4 months FLY by!

21 weeks

21 weeks now! 19 to go!! Half way through! We decided her name will be Mirella Caprice. Tony picked it out off of an Italian names website. We made a deal that if we use that name (since he picked it all), that her room is ALL mine to decorate! WOOHOOO!! I can't wait to begin! I've already picked out the bedding...you can see it on my registry with Target. I can't wait until we can go buy the crib and pick out paint. It's going to be such a cute little room! She's gonna love it! And yes...it's pink! HAHA!
I had some cramps last night...but they were gone when I woke up today. Mirella kicked me a TON today...she had slowed down on the amount of kicking the past couple days and then with the cramps I was a bit worried. But she reminded me all day today that everything is ok! Good little girl!! It's such an amazing feeling. I love it. She can kick me 24/7 I don't care.
I was craving Salisbury steak today...so I am making that right now for dinner. STARVING!! American Idol is on tonight and Big Brother starts next week! YAY! My favorite shows! Anyways...here is a belly shot...or two.

20 weeks

Just got back from my 20 week appointment. Everything went well. AFP results were perfect so thats good. The ultrasound report hasn't made it to my doctor yet...but they will call if anything is out of the ordinary. Here's a new bump pic from today. I just felt way bigger today (probably bloated), so I thought I would take a new pic.
