Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I'm 15 weeks and 1 day! Had a great Christmas other than the fact that Tony was sick and stayed home while I went to San Jose to spend the holiday with my family. Found out that Jay and Chris are also expecting babies at the same time in August, just 2 months after ours. So exciting! Next Christmas will be a very crazy one with all the babies!! :)

Next week is my 16 week appt, I will be setting up my ultrasound appt to find out the baby's sex and also getting blood work done for the AFP testing, to check for downs syndrome etc.

We have been using our fetal doppler here and there to hear our baby's heart beating. It's equally amazing every single time.

I keep feeling weird little twinges in there every once in a while, not sure if its my uterus growing or if it's the baby? They say you can feel it kicking and punching as early as 14 weeks. Hopefully they start to get stronger soon so I can know for sure! :)

People are starting to notice my little belly...although I think it is because I am wearing maternity pants everyday now because they are sooo much more comfortable.

13 weeks

13 weeks!

13 weeks today...which means just 7 more weeks until we can find out what this baby is! WOOHOO!! We can't wait! Everything is still going smoothly. I had to wear maternity pants a couple times now...my regular ones are fine when standing...but when I sit all day at work it starts to cut into my belly and causes a lot of discomfort. I only have one pair of those pants at the moment so I just wear them once in a while. I tend to wear lots of sweats at home though, they are warmer anyways with this chilly weather. Brrrr

We got our Christmas tree last weekend. I will post a picture here later of our first tree in OUR home! Very exciting!!

I'll be turning the big 30 next Monday. EEKS! But I get to go to Kyoto Palace this weekend in Campbell, my most favorite place to eat! I believe it'll be Mom, Jay, Cara, Chris, Veronica, Hailey, Tony and I. Mom says there is a surprise for me too on Saturday. CAN'T WAIT! I think maybe its Uncle Mike coming but she won't tell me. hehe Anyways...that's all for now...will post more later.

12 weeks!

As of today I am 12 weeks and 2 days. WOOHOO!! According to a few sites that I've read I am entering the 2nd Trimester. Some sites say that isn't until 13 or 14 weeks. So who really knows. I know that I have been pregnant for 3 months now and there is 6 left to go! My appt went well, the baby's heart rate was at 160 now. I am considering renting a doppler so that we can hear the baby anytime we want to. It's just such an amazing sound to hear. I seriously could listen to it all day long. I could also hear the baby moving around in there which was equally amazing! Can't wait until my 20 week appt so I can see the baby again in an ultra sound. They said I've only gained 2 lbs so far which is awesome! I probably won't post that info anymore after this haha! I'm sure its going to start to increase here very soon. Here is my 12 week pic. I am comparing it to my 5 week picture and I have grown a bit!! Amazing stuff!
Chandra had girl #3 last night! Looks like our baby will have 6 girl cousins!! WOW!!!!! Can't wait to see their new little addition!

11 weeks

Just one more week until my 2nd appointment AND I enter my 2nd trimester! WOOHOO!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Turkey Day at my Great Aunt & Uncles house (Bettie & Gordon) with a lot of my family. It was fun. We had Hailey wear her shirt that I made...after a little trouble convincing her it would be fun. She wouldn't take it off after she saw all the attention it brought her LOL! Everyone was so excited. Bettie read her shirt first and said "Excuse me everyone! We have an announcement!!" and preceeded to read the shirt out loud. Everyone screamed and hugged me. Unfortunately Tony was outside visiting with my Uncle Tom at the time so he missed it but heard all the yelling! We were completely stuffed after all the yummy food. We packed up some leftovers and headed home. Didn't get there until about midnight. EEKS...Tony had to go to work the next day! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! 10 weeks

Still feel great at 10 weeks!!! I'm so glad I don't have morning sickness for Thanksgiving!! I was worried about missing out on such a great food holiday! YUM!! Can't wait! Finished the shirt for Hailey to wear. I will post pictures of her wearing it in a couple days. Here is my latest belly shot...looks the same! HAHA! Actually now that I look at the other pic with this one I can see a TEENY difference in the lower part of my belly. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
