2 1/2 months!

Looks like she's had a rough day of eating, sleeping, and pooping!

Little Mirella just keeps on growing! It seems like she's doing something new everyday or at least every week. It's so exciting!! But at the same time so sad...she's really growing fast! Too fast!

As you probably all know by now (and after seeing my last post) that the 2 newest members of the family arrived last Tuesday the 19th...THE SAME DAY! It was a very very exciting day to say the least! Brooke Elise and Sophia Jane are adorable little babies. I am looking forward to watching them grow up with Mirella and seeing the trouble they get into. I can't wait to see them again!

Mirella has really started coo'ing (I like to call it talking) a lot lately, and she has also really started holding her head up very well when on her tummy.She also enjoys bath time very much, and I threw in some mini duckies the last few baths and she enjoys kicking the water when they touch her feet.

Learning to digital scrapbook!

Mirella's 2 month check up!

I can't believe she's 2 months old already! Boy does time fly! She went to the doctor for her 2 month check up on Tuesday afternoon. She's a healthy growing baby girl! She's now 10lbs 11oz, that's up a about 1 1/2 lbs from last months check up. She's 22 1/4 inches long and her head is 15 1/2 inches around. Both her height and her head size are in the 50% range, so she is average.

She had her first round of shots done. Poor baby! One shot in each leg. She had the look of fear in her eyes before the needle even went in, as if she knew something bad was going to happen. I felt so bad!! She screamed for a little bit afterwards, I did everything I could to calm her. Took about 10 minutes or so, then we were on our way home. She was pretty sleepy the rest of the evening and the whole next day, she didn't seem bothered by the shots making her legs a little sore. So thats good!
Whenever she's on her tummy she tries to do an army crawl. She wants to move around so bad!! I will post a video of it. She also loves to lock her legs and stand up. It's really cute!
She's smiling all the time now, she's so much fun! It's so easy to get her to smile. I couldn't have asked for a better baby!
The baby cousins Sophia and Brooke should be here any day now. Looking forward to meeting them! Mirella is super excited too! :)

Happy One Month Birthday Mirella!

Well she's a whole month old now. Actually a little over a month as I type this. She had her 1 month check up appointment today and the Pediatrician said she's doing well! Getting so big!!! She's 9lbs 4oz now, WOW!! My good little eater! Her head is an inch bigger now, and she's grown 2 inches in length! YAY for a growing-healthy baby!! He said her skin looks great, no hip issues, and no vaccines this time around. Next month we go back and she gets 2 shots. :(

She has a little bit of baby acne on her cheeks right now but it's very very mild you can barely see it. She's has day and night figured out, sleeps at night and wakes about 2-3 times to eat and goes right back to sleep. She stays awake most of the day time, with just 2 naps during the day.

She has learned to move her head to follow Tony and I around, which is so much fun! And she smiles now too...real ones... not just gas smiles. :)
