27-28 weeks

So I didn't post at 27 weeks, but here I am at 28 weeks now, 11 to go! WOOHOO! Possibly less! So exciting! As you can see on my post below, we had the 3D/4D ultrasound done at 26 weeks and a few days (which was Gramma's birthday). I will post a few pictures of that along with my belly shot for 27 & 28 weeks. The tech said she was measuring between 1 and 2 weeks ahead...so maybe she will come a little early! one can hope right?! He also said she is already head down and that they usually are by 30 weeks. So thats great news, hopefully she stays that way for another 11 weeks. She was chewing on her wrist a lot and playing with her foot. She had her little legs crossed like a good little girl. :) Already well mannered. Hehe!! Her heartbeat was good, you can hear it in the video below.

Things have been good still...I feel more tired again, but not AS tired as I was during the 1st trimester. I've been a lot more emotional too...probably MORE than 1st trimester. EEKS! I believe I'm starting my 3rd trimester now or in it, different sources say different things.

We start our birthing classes on Monday, I'm really excited for that! 6 weeks of it. Lots to cover I assume!

Anyhow, I had to take my GD (glucose) test the other day for gestational diabetes. Waiting for the results of that...should know by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. I have my 29 week appt coming up this Tuesday, I will get the Rhogam shot then for my Rh negative blood factor thing-a-ma-bob. And after that appt I will begin going every 2 weeks.

Mirella is kicking A LOT now...I read I can start kick counts now...should feel 10 kicks, punches, twirls, etc within an hour. When I rest and count...I can usually feel all 10 within 30 minutes, and I usually don't count the really light movements...just the stronger ones. I LOVE IT! I will totally miss feeling her kick me when she comes...but I'll be holding her! :)

We had our hospital tour last week. That was pretty fun and exciting and freaky! Just kind of made things seem more real. To see the beds and rooms that we'll be in when she comes, it made me realize all the pain that is in store for me. YIKES! Let's all hope that her arrival is easy and quick.

We found out what Mirella's cousins will be! And I'm SOO excited. I think Mirella is too. I won't announce it on here, so they can spread their own good news. :)

We finally cleared out the office stuff so we can begin the nursery. I will take some pictures of the progress as we go. Hopefully have it done pretty soon.

I think that is all for now. I will post again this week after my appt and with my GD results. Hope I passed!
